The intelligent energy storage network
Turning commercial and industrial buildings into flexible energy assets through an intelligent Virtual Power Plant.
Commercial or industrial building with a demand of 1 MW or more? Contact us to evaluate your site’s energy potential.
A new energy infrastructure is emerging.
Commercial and industrial buildings are becoming distributed energy assets capable of generating value and supporting the power grid.
A private Virtual Power Plant dedicated to commercial and industrial buildings in Québec.
An integrated solution for energy storage, generation and optimization
Gridsync designs, deploys and finances energy storage systems installed behind the meter of commercial and industrial buildings.
These energy assets are integrated into a Virtual Power Plant that improves building energy efficiency and helps reduce pressure on Québec’s electrical grid.
A new source of energy value for buildings
New Energy Value
Participating building owners share in the revenues generated by the energy assets installed on their sites.
Electricity Savings
Buildings also benefit from electricity savings generated through energy optimization.
Energy Resilience
Installed systems improve building resilience through backup energy capability.
Grid Stability
Energy assets also contribute to grid stability and flexibility.
Build-Own-Operate (BOO) Model
Gridsync designs, installs, owns, operates, and maintains energy assets deployed at participating sites, retaining full ownership under a long-term model.
How the Virtual Power Plant works
01
Energy storage and generation systems are installed in commercial and industrial buildings.
02
These energy assets are connected to a centralized management platform.
03
The Virtual Power Plant coordinates their operation based on energy demand and grid conditions.
04
Together, these assets form a more flexible and resilient distributed energy infrastructure.
What types of buildings are we looking for?
Gridsync develops projects with commercial and industrial buildings whose characteristics allow distributed energy assets to be effectively deployed.
Buildings with the following characteristics are particularly sought after:
A regional deployment approach
Gridsync develops its projects by region, notably in Greater Montréal, Capitale-Nationale and Abitibi.
Projects are developed in areas where electrical infrastructure is most heavily used.

Gridsync is currently developing its first projects in Québec.
We are seeking partners to develop projects in Ontario and New Brunswick.
Organizations interested in collaborating in the regional deployment of distributed energy resources are invited to contact us.
